Louis Vuitton has teamed up with LEGO to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the founder of the luxury house, Louis Vuitton.

Housed in a specially designed Louis Vuitton trunk, this unique piece of art was personalized by a group of children using LEGO DOTS, celebrating the creativity, imagination and colorful world of young minds. The creation consists of 31,700 LEGO bricks in a range of colors. Vuitton’s face is highlighted using lavender, white, black and pink LEGO bricks and DOTS, in addition to Vuitton’s first name and several three-dimensional flowers.

The party does not end there – The luxury house also released a novel a few months ago that celebrates the life of the French designer and businessman. The new novel, titled Louis Vuitton, The daring, was written by French author Caroline Bongrand and details Vuitton’s story of leaving her family mill at age 14 to begin her journey in Paris, France.

The story continues by illustrating his job as a packer, trunk maker and craftsman, with Mr. Maréchal, then one of the most prestigious trunk makers of the Faubourg Saint-Honoré. Additionally, the novel deals with Vuitton’s relationship with the Empress of France Eugenie de Montijo and the rise of her eponymous brand.
